ITPO Germany offers eligible students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain experience in international economics and development, with a specific focus on investment mobilization and technology transfer. The ideal candidate is a curious and motivated person with a keen interest and first work experience in one or more of the focus sectors of UNIDO ITPO Germany.
Internship tasks include the preparation of fairs and events, business-to-business cooperation, sector-specific research, communication tasks (incl. technical reports, concept notes, social media), and also administrative support (e.g., procurement, travel management, office management).
An internship can begin at any time during the year and should ideally last six months. Shorter internship periods may be possible upon request.
The intern is required to hold a valid health/accident insurance coverage during his/her internship.
Required qualifications:
Eligibility: Recent graduates or current students, who are enrolled in a graduate school program or have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies in a field relevant to or of interest to the work of the organization. Graduates, who graduated no more than one year before the start of the internship, might also apply.
Study subjects: Economics, Political Sciences, Development Studies, International Affairs or any related subject.
Language skills: Fluency in German and English, knowledge in French, Spanish or any other UN language would be an asset.
