With a career combining intensive business and political experience in Africa, Thierry is the DRC National Advisor to UNIDO ITPO- Germany. He is a Lawyer and has drove some projects on behalf of different foreign companies such as Japan Tobacco International, Intaba Mining PLC, HVWWG.
Over the last decades, He has built strong networks throughout the DRC in both private and public sectors, as well as in neighboring and other African countries Congo B, Rwanda, Uganda, Burundi, Cote d’Ivoire, Benin, Mali, Senegal, Togo, Tanzania, Gabon, South Africa, Mali, …
The above explains his professional exposure in fostering collaboration between Government and Private sector on the extractive (mining) and Tobacco industries, and on sustainable development and global climate change issues.
He has an experience in the Private sector after having worked for British American Tobacco ( BAT ) as Legal and External Affairs Manager for two years and AngloAmerican as Country Manager for five years.
His experience in public sector was made by and serving DRC in several Ministries such as The Prime Minister Office, Ministries of Environment, Energy, Human rights, Foreign Affairs and the Parliament.
